Description We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina. This contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. - Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies. - Support the implementation and usage of ERP systems, including assisting with the transition to NetSuite. - Prepare and record accounting entries in compliance with company policies and procedures. - Collaborate with various divisions to handle billing and payroll functions effectively. - Contribute to operational tasks and assist with administrative activities to ensure smooth workflow. - Participate in the preparation of financial reports and documentation for internal use. - Work closely with team members to adapt to the fast-paced environment and meet organizational goals. - Assist with ongoing improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency. - Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements throughout all financial activities. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant coursework or internships are a plus. - Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting. - Basic understanding of financial reconciliation processes. - Proficiency in accounting software; experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is highly desirable. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and fast-moving environment. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and other departments. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
