At Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care, the supporting roles of our office teams go beyond paperwork and administrative tasks. Billing Coordinator Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Health Care Administration preferred; high school diploma required
  • 1–3 years of experience in a medical office billing role
  • Proficient in verifying insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtaining authorizations
  • Skilled in reviewing, preparing, and submitting electronic and paper claims
  • Strong understanding of HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer systems
  • Experienced in researching and appealing denied claims, managing unpaid accounts
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and insurance providers
  • Knowledgeable in medical billing software, coding, and basic accounting procedures


Billing Coordinator Schedule & Benefits:  

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO.
