Biomedical Equipment Technician II for our HTM team for a reputable
Hospital in
Boston, MA . The Biomedical Equipment Technician II will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical equipment in a hospital environment, while ensuring a high level of customer service and equipment reliability
What You'll Do - Perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment functionality and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance testing.
- Provide timely and efficient service while prioritizing urgent repair needs.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment issues and deliver excellent customer support.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to healthcare technology management.
- Assist in the installation and calibration of new equipment.

What You Bring - 3 years of experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical devices independently.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
- Experience with ventilators, anesthesia equipment, and sterilizers preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
