Job Description

Summary We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to act as a key liaison between our business leaders and the BI team. This role is crucial for translating business needs into actionable data solutions and driving our company's transition from basic reporting to strategic, data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and analytical skills, a deep understanding of data visualization principles, and a proven track record with Power BI. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our BI strategy and foster a data-first culture within the company. Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate directly with business leaders and department heads to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and document them clearly in order to develop the desired reports and dashboards.
• Business Process Acumen: Learn and understand core business processes to effectively assess needs and suggest appropriate, data-driven BI solutions that align with business goals.
• Solution Design: Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for BI Architects, data engineers, and other technical team members, ensuring proposed solutions are scalable and effective.
• Dashboard Development: Oversee the full lifecycle of Power BI dashboards and reports, from initial design and development to deployment. This includes ensuring accuracy, functionality, and an intuitive user experience.
• Data Analysis & Validation: Conduct in-depth data analysis and rigorous validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all reports and datasets.
• Strategic Insights: Proactively identify opportunities to use data for deeper insights, such as trend analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting, and work with the technical team to explore and implement these possibilities.
• User Training & Support: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively leverage BI reports and dashboards.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and usage of BI reports to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analyst role.
• Experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) data is a significant plus.
• Power BI: Advanced proficiency in developing, designing, and maintaining dashboards and reports.
• Data Languages: Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Data Concepts: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
