Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Cake Decorator with a passion for gourmet pastries and a strong artistic flair. This position requires extensive experience in cake decorating, icing techniques, and high-volume pastry production. The ideal candidate will integrate seamlessly into our pastry team to assist with daily preparation, decoration, and production of both large and small batch pastry items. A strong understanding of scratch baking, precision recipe execution, and consistent quality is essential to maintaining our high standards.
Creatively decorate cakes, tarts, cupcakes, pastries, and special-order items to company standards
Assist with preparation and production of all required pastry and bakery items, including parfaits, bars, and cupcakes
Produce daily in-house bakery items in accordance with established par levels and production schedules
Maintain accurate records of production and spoilage; adjust production levels as necessary
Package, weigh, price, and label bakery items for sale
Monitor and ensure product freshness, proper rotation, and visual appeal
