Clinical Director (BCBA) | Durham, NC

Clinic-Based | Full-Time | Leadership Role | $140,000–$160,000 per year (Base + Performance Bonus)

Lead clinical quality, support clinician growth, and guide families through compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is hiring an experienced BCBA Clinical Director to oversee clinical operations in our Durham, NC clinic.

This role offers reduced billable hour expectations to allow greater focus on leadership, mentorship, and clinical oversight.

Position Details

• Location: Durham, NC (clinic-based)
  
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, consistent daytime hours
  
• Employment Type: Full-time, in-person
  
• Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 per year (base salary + performance bonus)
  
• Reports To: Regional Clinical Leadership
  

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure high-quality ABA services
  
• Develop, review, and refine individualized treatment plans
  
• Supervise and mentor BCBAs, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians
  
• Review progress data and make data-driven treatment adjustments
  
• Provide caregiver coaching to support skill generalization
  
• Maintain compliance with BACB ethics, HIPAA, and AutismCOE policies
  
• Partner with operations leadership to improve clinical efficiency and service quality
  
• Contribute to clinic-wide initiatives and strategic planning

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  
• North Carolina Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility to obtain
  
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
  
• 4–5 years of ABA experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role
  

Preferred:

• Experience in a clinic-based ABA setting
  

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 per year

(based on experience, certification, and performance)
