Job Description

Our client, a healthcare analytics company, is hiring a Data Analyst to join their product analytics team. The company provides data solutions to hospitals and health systems, helping them improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

You'll build dashboards, analyze trends, and translate complex data into actionable insights for healthcare executives. The role requires strong SQL skills and experience with visualization tools. Healthcare data experience is preferred but not required.

This is a fully remote position. The team collaborates via Slack and Zoom, with optional quarterly meetups at the Atlanta headquarters.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau for internal and client use
Write complex SQL queries to extract and transform healthcare data
Analyze trends in patient volumes, readmissions, and quality metrics
Create reports and presentations for client stakeholders
Collaborate with product managers to define analytics requirements
Document data definitions and methodology
Identify data quality issues and work with engineering to resolve
Support ad-hoc analysis requests from leadership

Requirements

2+ years of data analyst experience
Advanced SQL skills including CTEs, window functions, and optimization
Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
Experience with healthcare data such as claims, EMR, or quality measures preferred
Strong communication skills for presenting to non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
Experience with Python or R a plus
Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy
