Our client is seeking an Advanced Decision Support Specialist (DSS) to provide GIS, geospatial analysis, and decision support solutions . The consultant will design workflows, create spatial data products, and build decision-making tools using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online .
This role requires strong technical expertise in GIS combined with the ability to translate technical outputs into plain business language for non-technical stakeholders.
Design, document, and maintain geospatial workflows for analysis.
Perform spatial analysis and create maps, dashboards, and story maps .
Develop web content in ArcGIS Online (Story Maps, Web Maps, Survey123 apps).
Translate requirements into decision support tools and reporting applications .
Provide technical support and training to business users.
Integrate GPS and tabular data into ArcGIS Online feature services.
Communicate geospatial concepts clearly to business stakeholders and leadership .
Support GEO AI and ESRI AI tool adoption under DEP standards.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or IT (or equivalent work experience).
Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ESRI enterprise tools .
Experience creating story maps, dashboards, and web apps .
Knowledge of geospatial formats, metadata, and spatial analysis techniques .
Hands-on experience with GPS/tabular data integration .
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
GISP certification (Geographic Information Systems Professional).
Knowledge of environmental science or regulatory processes .
Familiarity with GEO AI or ESRI AI tools .
