Job Description

A leading Dallas-based design firm specializing in landscape architecture, planning, and urban design is seeking a talented Designer to join its growing team. Position Overview

As a Designer , you’ll contribute to all phases of landscape architecture and urban design projects—from early concept development to construction documentation. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated, design-oriented professional eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support conceptual, schematic, and detailed design development.
  • Create graphics, renderings, and presentation materials for internal reviews and client meetings.
  • Assist with site analysis, layout design, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to maintain design intent and technical accuracy.
  • Research materials, planting design, and sustainable design strategies.
  • Contribute to illustrative graphics, plans, and project detailing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in a design or planning environment (internship experience considered).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and SketchUp.
  • Familiarity with Revit, Lumion, or Rhino is a plus.
  • Strong graphic, technical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, design-focused team.
