Lakeside Book Company is looking for Temp-to Hire Dock Workers who are searching for a place where their contributions will be recognized and appreciated. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology to make your job easier, and we provide comprehensive training to ensure you're set up for success. As our Dock Worker, you will be:

• Scanning parcels to pallets
• Labeling and palletizing boxes that can weigh up to 50lbs
• Inducting parcels onto the conveyor system
• Placing, arranging, marking, sealing, and tagging items on pallets and in containers, bins, and bulk storage.
• Completing quality control checks and processes
  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs throughout your shift.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work well within a team and also independently when required.
• Must be able to read English language sufficiently to understand written work orders and instructions
• Previous RF scanner experience required.
• Previous quality control experience preferred.
  
  

Shift, Pay, & Location

Pay: $17.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm, with overtime as needed

Location: 700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168

Job Type: Temp-to-hire: eligible for full time, permanent, status change following your 90-day probationary performance review.
