Job Description

Start your new career as an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Technician with MAU at GE in Longmont, CO. As an EHS Technician, you will support and enhance EHS programs by performing hands-on safety tasks and helping implement policies that promote a safe and compliant workplace.

What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field - preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in EHS, industrial safety, or environmental compliance preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; experience with EHS platforms like Gensuite, L2L
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document and analyze safety data
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work in a mixed office and manufacturing setting
What You’ll Do as an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Technician:
  • Support the development and execution of EHS policies and programs
  • Create and maintain PPE assessments for different job roles
  • Develop and update Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs)
  • Conduct Gemba audits to identify and mitigate safety risks
  • Assist with incident investigations and document findings
  • Promote safety through training sessions, toolbox talks, and employee engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS compliance
  • Perform administrative support tasks for the Site and Manufacturing team
