Job Description

Title : Forensic Engineering

Location : Fort Lauderdale FL (8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday)

Type : Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our Forensic Engineering Department. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact. You’ll work with a talented team, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position provides both flexibility and responsibility in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

·  Perform visual inspections of buildings and structures

·  Prepare written reports following inspection and code guidelines

·  Review drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for accuracy and compliance

·  Estimate material, equipment, and labor costs

·  Attend project meetings and address inquiries from various stakeholders

·  Follow office policies, standards, and project schedules

Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university

·  Professional Engineering license (PE)

·  Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

·  2 years of post-degree work experience in construction, design, inspection, or estimating

·  Experience working onsite and conforming to drawings, specifications, and plans

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills with colleagues and clients

·  Excellent planning, organization, and attention to detail

·  Experience with contractors, time management, and industry-applied methods
