Job Description

Description Our team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits and Leave Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering employee benefits programs, managing leave of absence requests, and supporting employees with benefit inquiries. Key Responsibilities: + Administer employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and other ancillary benefits + Act as a primary point of contact for employee leave requests (FMLA, parental leave, disability, etc.), ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations + Coordinate benefit enrollment, changes, and terminations in HRIS systems + Respond to employee questions regarding plan coverage, eligibility, and claims processes + Work closely with HR and payroll to ensure accurate processing of benefits and leave-related transactions + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws, and implement compliance procedures + Support annual benefits open enrollment and communicate plan changes to staff + Collaborate with vendors and brokers to resolve benefits-related issues and process claims + Prepare reports and maintain records for auditing and compliance purposes Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred + 2+ years of experience administering employee benefits and leave programs + Strong knowledge of employee benefits compliance (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, etc.) + Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills + Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
