NetSuite Administrator with Cost Accounting Background

Summary:

We are helping our client find a skilled and experienced NetSuite Administrator with cost accounting experience to join their team. The NetSuite Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our client's NetSuite platform, including customizations, integrations, and user support. We are looking for a professional with a strong understanding of NetSuite functionality and that can work collaboratively with our client's IT and Finance teams to ensure the platform meets their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the NetSuite ERP system, including user access, configurations, and customizations.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements and implement solutions within the NetSuite platform.
• Conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing user support and training.
• Monitoring system performance, security, and data integrity, and implementing best practices for system administration.
• Staying up-to-date with NetSuite updates and new features, and making recommendations for system enhancements.
• Liaison between project management and finance
• Maintain the monthly project cost report
• Review vendor invoices for validity and coding
• Evaluate needs for further ERP development and manage contractors to accomplish goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of NetSuite experience.
• Accounting experience, preferably in cost accounting
• High level of attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system administration, including user management, configurations, and customizations.
• Experience with system integration and data migration processes.
• Understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with financial modules in NetSuite.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and end users.
• Understand PNL and cost accounting.
• Experience in training users to use NetSuite.
