Position Overview:
As a Pizza Maker at Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, crafting the signature pizzas that our guests savor. Your attention to detail, culinary creativity, and dedication to quality will directly influence the satisfaction of our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the excellence of our pizzeria.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and hand-stretch dough to create the perfect pizza crust.
• Assemble pizzas with precision and artistry, ensuring each ingredient is evenly distributed.
• Work with a woodfired oven, maintaining the ideal temperature for baking.
• Monitor and time pizza cooking to achieve the desired level of crispiness and flavor.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth flow of pizza orders.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Suggest innovative and delectable pizza combinations, specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen station.
• Engage with guests, answering questions about our pizzas, and accommodating special requests.

Qualifications:

• A passion for creating mouthwatering, high-quality woodfired pizzas.
• Culinary creativity and a strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation, stretching, and baking.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to pizzeria procedures and standards.
• Previous experience as a Pizza Maker or in a similar culinary role is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Food Worker Card required
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
