Description

The Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) – Level III is responsible for performing inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of medical and non-medical support equipment, including but not limited to medical package tools, generators, and environmental control units. The BMET -Level III ensures all work is conducted in compliance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) guidance, DoD instructions, applicable regulations, and unit directives. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to established procedures to maintain equipment reliability and operational readiness.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree is desired but may not be required if the minimum field experience requirement is met.
· Must have graduated from the DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or an accredited civilian Biomedical Maintenance Course.
· Must graduate from the Planmeca digital dental course no later than 12 months after start.
· Minimum 10 years of field experience (minimum of four years as a level II BMET) in managing: initial inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, life cycle management, repair of medical equipment, equipment acquisition, and safety within OEM guidance and local/state/federal regulations.
· Advanced degree in a related field, preferred.
· Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.
· Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.
Salary
$ 36.76 to $ 45.95 per hour

· Work environment conditions may occasionally include exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, vibration, and risk of radiation.
