• MUST WORK INDIA HOURS (Midnight EST 9AM EST)
• Understand the problem; ask clarifying questions if necessary.
• Recommend a solution.
• When stuck, know who to ask for help; and if not known, ASK FOR HELP!
• Collaborate with others on small projects.
• Understand gaps and be able to fill the gaps.
• Understand the goals to be met.
• Follow release and PROD implementation principles/guidelines.
• Provide timely and regular status updates.
• Any team member should not mind helping, mentoring, and guiding, but they do have their own work to do as well.
• Research, read, investigate, and implement solutions.
• Connect the dots. Find gaps and close them.
• If asking for help, already complete own research first.
• Recommend improvements if room for improvement is seen.
• Do own work. Follow through on assigned tasks.
• Validate work.
• Understand first, then do.
• Have to understand the why behind something, not just the what or the how.
• Learn how to learn.
• Be specific. If ambiguous or vague, it causes more problems than it solves.
• If not understood, ask, but be specific.
• If bringing a problem, propose a solution.
• If wanting assistance, be specific in what is being asked for.
• Tasks are developmental in nature. Should grow and seek growth.
• Other team members should not feel that they are dragging along.
• Volunteer for work. If not enough tasks, volunteer for things.
• The way to learn is to get involved.
• In communications and in development, pretend and understand as if the person reading the artifact/product, as opposed to the person developing it.
