Full Job Description:
Refuse Fab is expanding its workforce! We are seeking a new welder to join our team. This position is in a manufacturing facility. Pay is based on experience and capabilities.
Job Specifics :
Must be trained in MIG Welding
Experienced in welding with Flux-Core
Must possess the ability to interpret blueprints, engineered drawings and sketches
Able to produce quality work with reasonable efficiency
Know general welding processes and techniques
Capable of welding small and large carbon steel components
Must be able to perform general maintenance on welding equipment
Understand heat input, travel speed and its effect on weld profiles
Must be able to operate hand tools such as grinders and plasma torches
Must have own general tools and hood
General Requirements:
Able to read a tape measure
Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs
Able to stand for long periods of time
Must have own reliable mode of transportation
Must understand safety hazards related to work environment and how to safely operate all equipment related to job tasks
Prospective applicants will be required to complete a weld test on site.
